Congratulations to Asst. Prof. Dr. Amonrat Thoumrungroje, Department of International Business Management, First Place Winner of the 18th CEEMAN Case Writing Competition in Partnership with Emerald.
1st Place Winning case titled ‘Thai Beverage Public Company Limited: Thailand Leader, Global Challenger,’ authored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amonrat Thoumrungroje, Department of International Business, Assumption University and Asst. Prof. Dr. Olimpia Racela, Mahasarakham University Business School, Thailand will be available online in the Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies in the February/March Issue 2013.
A total number of 37 cases, written by authors from 33 institutions in 21 countries (Australia, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Jamaica, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and USA) were submitted for the competition. Based on the competition criteria, 19 cases from 17 institutions and 12 countries were then shortlisted for the evaluation by the jury.
The authors of the first-place winning case will share a monetary prize of €2,500, participation in the 20th CEEMAN Annual Conference on 26-28 September 2012, a 100% scholarship for participation in one of CEEMAN faculty development programs, and a 12-month free subscription to an Emerald subject collection. http://www.emeraldinsight.com/research/awards/ceemancase.htm
