To create keen awareness of the urgently pressing issue of the plastic wastes overwhelmingly infiltrating and loading the planet earth and moral social responsibility, the seminar on “ Earth Cries: Set me free from Plastics” was organized by Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay Yoonprayong, Vice President for Moral Development Education and Director, John Paul II Center for Catholic Social Thought.  An expert keynote speaker, was Dr. John Stampe, Department of General Education, who enlightened the audiences with the facts and details of how much plastic is being dumped on the deteriorating world; calling for social awareness and obliged responsibility in reducing and preventing such unneeded inorganic and un-degradable plastic wastes. Taking place on October 31, 2018 at the John XXIII Conference Center, Suvarnabhumi Campus, this eye-opening educational event was presided over by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus.   Furthermore, international student representatives from different regions or continents also shared about their knowledge and insights on the issue.  The session was attended by a number of faculty members, staff, Thai and international students as well as interested individuals.
