Mr. Poom Penghiran, an AU Computer Science Major, Vincent Mary School of Science & Technology, snatched the highly prestigious Apple WWDC Award 2020 (Swift Student Challenge Winner).  Being the 3rd Thai student presented with this fiercely contested award for the past five years, Poom emerged as one of the 350 student winners worldwide.  Since his freshman year at Assumption University,  Poom joined as the 3rd successive capable group of experts, contributing to the success of the smartly devised & innovative AU Spark (an Academic-Profile Management Versatile Platform);  thus greatly facilitating the university’s  worthwhile online activities & functions.   Earning such a highly recognized and enviable title, Poom will attain the privileged membership; directly dealing with the genius, world-class Apple team of Developers & Engineers, thus gaining easy access to their expertise, wise guidance and consul for his enhanced skills and abilities for his further successful endeavors in his field.

Congratulations to Poom, our senior AU Computer Science Student for his excellent achievements and the unique award he has been granted.

 Moreover, as one of the first developers and contributors to the genuinely devised AU Spark Application for the benefits of the university’s highly advanced online technology, Mr. Kiratijuta Bhumichitr (Fair), an AU former Computer Science Student, has been known as the first Thai student to be presented with such an Apple WWDC 2015 Award (Scholarship).  Kiratijuta now serves as an AU Full-time Computer Science Lecturer, Vincent Mary School of Science & Technology, who still directs the AU Spark Platform developers; continually engineering and improving its useful features and functions.
