Congratulations to AU Freshman Music Student for Winning Outstanding Asian Artist Award

The highly gifted and musically talented AU freshman music student from the AU Louis Nobiron School of Music, Danupha Kanateerakul (Milli) was presented with the highly acclaimed and prestigious Best New Asian Artist Award during the recently held 2020 Mnet Thailand Asian Music Awards: 2020 MAMA judged by her best musical selections (her best songs of the year)

It is considered the golden year and most outstanding success for Milli as her songs:  i.e.  Puk Gon and Sud Pung among other series have been popularly well-known and highly applauded throughout the year and extraordinarily voted top through the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards fierce Competition. 

Her winning has brought great pride to   Thai people this year.  Expressing her excitement and happiness through her Face Book and Twitter @millimdk “I am extremely happy to be the winning Champion of this Asia’s Biggest Music Awards.  I have watched this MANA program since I was in high school and dream of getting the ticket to watch the live show in Korea witnessing the winner walking on the red carpet to receive the award and join the cheering crowd as the fan club saluting and clapping for the winner”

Awarded this uniquely outstanding prize, Danupha (Milli) further mentioned that “ I am overwhelmingly glad and never expect that I would ever get this highly honorable wonderful Asian award”
The video clip featuring her best song “Sud Pung” etc. which landed her this 2020 Mnet Asian Music Award, was shot at the beautiful Assumption University’s Suvarnabhumi Campus.

This year’s specially organized (new normal or new form) of the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards or #2020MAMA took place on December 6, 2020 at 18.00 hrs. Korean time and at 16.00 Hrs. Thailand time.
