AU Annual Faculty Seminar 2018 on “ How could AU Survive in the Next 10 Years?”

During this year’s annual seminar held on August 1, 2018, all AU participating top management team, administrators and faculty members were bombarded with the most challenging and enlightening topic of “How could AU survive in the next 10 years?” The first keynote speech on “Education System in the Future for Thailand 4.0”  was delivered by H.E. Clinical Prof. Dr. Udom Kacintorn, M.D., Deputy Minister of Education, who elaborated on the survival tactics of Thailand’s higher educational institutions in light of the current facts and impending educational crisis facing the country.  The session was followed by the second speech on “Expected Attributes of Graduates in the Future” by Dr. Srihasak Arirachakaran, CEO of Lanna Resources Public Co., Ltd. Relevant panel discussion moderated by Mr. Prajya Aura-ek, News Reporter at Nation Channel, included the following panelists:  Ms. Alinee Thanawatsuggasari, Director of Senior Executive Center, Office of the Civil Service Commission, Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia, Dr. Amarit Bhumiratana, Dean of Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Assumption University, and Mr. Wuthichai Choonhasakulchoke, Former Dean of Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, Assumption University. Wrapping up the day’s seminar, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Manificus, stressed on overall relevant pressing issues, urging each individual for their stepped-up, concerted and uncompromising self-development, responsibility, synergy,  collaborative efforts and the keen awareness of their valuable contributing roles for the realization of the university’s accelerated progress, sustainability, survival and further success.
