Assumption University recently underwent the usual stringent internal quality assessment process for overall university (institutional level) performance as part of the monitor and check in line with its set education criteria and objectives. Organized by Office of the Policy, Planning and Quality Assurance, the session was held during October 1-2, 2018 at the John XXIII Conference Center, Suvarnabhumi Campus, with a number of both distinguished external and internal quality control committee members who carefully conducted the internal quality assessment measures or steps. The two-day session was actively participated by Rev. Bro. Surasit Sukchai, Chairman of Assumption University Council, Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip M. Komolmas, President Emeritus, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, Dr. Kamol Kitsawad, Vice President for Policy, Planning and Quality Assurance and the main organizer of the event, Dr. Somprot Sarakosas, President, Assumption University Alumni Association’s Executive Committee, Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors and concerned personnel. Concluding the assessment proceedings, the committee made general verbal positive comments on the university outstanding achievements. However, the final and conclusive evaluations, recommendations and proposals for further improvements, progress and developments will be forthcoming.
