Students Toured AU Campus’ Green Park to Boost their Environmental Science Study
A group of Klong Ka Ja (Pong Sombutr) Elementary School students made a special visit to Assumption University’s Hua Mak Campus; observing the University’s natural environment, surroundings, green garden and lake on November 5, 2020 as part of their educational field trip for their related study.
To enhance their Environmental Science learning activities, the visiting students observed and learned to describe factors related to the maintenance or sustaining naturally green, clean and environmentally-friendly surroundings.
Assumption University, popularly noted for its Green and Clean Model, is the ideal platform for such a study and one of the major factors that has attracted daily visits of numerous groups of students and academics. Known as the University in the parks, the AU campuses’ attractively and naturally landscaped atmospheres with verdantly green parks full of trees, bushes, flowers in addition to the clear lakes are ideally conducive for teaching and students’ learning & acquiring knowledge in such a peaceful and natural ambience.
Such a green and clean University project has been the major vision and mission instilled in the AU Community members as their major responsibility to keep all the environments not only green but clean free from pollutant elements.
