Their recent meeting with the Vice Rector, Rev. Bro. Dr. Achin Tengtrakul!

The following group of AU student athletes, who recently competed in their individual expert sports and awarded the various prizes & medals, met with Rev. Bro. Dr. Achin Tengtrakul, Vice President for Administrative Affairs and Acting Vice President for Student Affairs, on the 14th Floor, CL Building, on September 18, 2020, for his congratulatory blessings and encouragement. The athletes also posed for a group photo with the Vice Rector.

Achieving outstanding success, the students have brought fame and honor to the university:

 

Mr. Thananant Soonthornphan

 

Mr. Thananant Soonthornphan, first year student, Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, grabbed the first prize  (Gold Medal) of the Karate Game: for Male category not exceeding 60 kilograms of weight and of more than18 years of age. Thananant also earned the second runner-up title (of Bronze Medal) for Karate exhibition during the 50th Karate Tournament Thailand Championship organized during September 12-13, 2020 at Rangsit University.

 

 

 

Ms. Viramon Kidarn

 

 

Ms. Viramon Kidarn, second year student, Thomas Aquinas School of Laws, earned the second prize (Silver Medal) of the 25m. Pistol Shooting for female category at the shooting range, Hau Mak Stadium, Bangkok. Luckily, Ms. Viramon grabbed one more Bronze Medal during another competition “The Thailand Green Shooting Championships 2020” held at the same venue on Sunday, August 20, 2020.

 

 

 

  

Mr. Voramet Pungdecha

 

 

Mr. Voramet Pungdecha, first year student, Vincent Mary school of Engineering, achieved the second prize of the TGA-SINGA Junior Gold Ranking 2020-2021 Competition at the Kabinburi Golf Course (Sports Club) organized during August 22-23, 2020 by Thailand Golf Association under the Royal Patronage.

 

 

 

 

Ms. Kettip Liampeng

 

 

Ms. Kettip Liampeng, fourth year student, Vincent Mary School of Engineering, earned the first prize (Gold Medal) of Jet Ski: Woman Runabout 1100 Stock and the 5th title of the Amateur Women Ski 1500 Stock organized at the Prachaupkirikun’s bay during the Jet Ski Pro-Tour Thailand Championship.

 

 

 

Mr. Nitikorn Kongkray

 

 

Mr. Nitikorn KongkrayMartin de Tours School of Management and Economics, earned the Second Prize for Table Tennis: Galaxy Anti Virus for single male; organized at the College of Technology Mu Ban Kru on August 23, 2563.

 

 

 

 

Besides providing quality education, Assumption University is fully supporting the extracurricular activities and sports programs for students’ good health and recreational programs: i.e. Annual University Games and many other external and internal sports projects.
